About Vertix
Built by a clinical psychologistfor clinical psychologists.
Vertix is not a tech company that decided to enter mental health. It is a clinical research project that decided to ship.
Why Vertix exists
More than a thousand peer-reviewed papers on mental health are published every month. Almost none of them ever reach the room where the work happens. The clinical AI tools available to mental health professionals are general-medicine systems retrofitted to psychiatry, often funded by the manufacturers of the treatments they recommend, and silent on the replication crisis that defines half of psychology's literature.
Vertix was built to address all three. It is mental-health-native. It surfaces evidence quality, replication status, and counter-evidence on every recommendation. And it has no commercial relationship with any pharmaceutical manufacturer, health insurer, managed care organisation, pharmacy benefit manager, advertiser, or data broker.
What we built
The product surface is 35 functional modules, each documented as a function specification with its own evidence trail. Among them:
- Reasoning: 34 paradigm engines, 5,250+ Tier A papers in the Decision Engine, 3-tier differential diagnosis covering 4 chief complaints × 55 entries.
- Documentation and coding: 14 features designed to reduce documentation time, including auto-coding CPT, MHPAEA parity audit, and pre-auth letter drafting.
- Compliance and safety: PSYPACT 51-state telehealth tracker, 988 Crisis Lifeline integration, 47 contraindicated drug-drug interactions, 23 pharmacogenomic CPIC pairs.
- Knowledge base: a 9.3M-paper Reference Library with weekly Tier A/B/C/D/X classification (Cochrane + GRADE + Q1 + citation percentile).
Every quantitative claim on this site links to a substantiation entry on the methodology page. Every clinical recommendation in the product carries a span-level Digital Object Identifier (DOI) citation.
Where Vertix is in its lifecycle
Vertix is pre-launch. The honest commercial path is three phases:
- Andorra free pilot · 2026 Q2 (active). Free pilot with selected Andorra-based clinicians. No revenue. Goal: validate the workflow before US deployment.
- Beta US private cohort · 2026 Q3. 5–10 US clinics, paid, invitation-only. HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA) active day 1. Founding-cohort pricing locked.
- General availability · September 2026. Self-serve sign-up at Master's / Doctoral / Medical / Student tiers per pricing. Group practice and Clinic via sales. SOC 2 Type II audit begins.
We do not claim active US customers. Where the marketing site references customer outcomes, the language is explicit: designed to, target state, or founding cohort opening. SOC 2 Type II is a target, not a certification.
How the company is structured
Vertix is operated by two coordinated entities. THE HUB INITIATIVE SLU (Sociedad Limitada Unipersonal) is incorporated in the Principality of Andorra (NRT A8-552836-Y) and owns the underlying research, the corpus, and the engine. Vertix LLC is the US commercial entity, incorporated in the State of Delaware, which signs commercial contracts (including HIPAA Business Associate Agreements) with US customers and operates the production HIPAA-compliant infrastructure.
Both entities are wholly owned by the founder. There is no venture capital, no private equity, and no strategic investor with equity, board seats, or contractual influence over the product. The company is bootstrapped.
Independence engineered into the architecture
The retrieval engine ranks evidence by replication score, source authority, GRADE evidence quality, citation percentile, and clinical match. It does not rank by commercial relationship. The ranking algorithm is documented in /methodology. The source corpus is auditable at /data-sources. The financial structure is published at /no-conflict-of-interest. Security controls and certifications roadmap are at /security.
Trust is not earned by saying the right things. It is earned by being structurally incapable of doing the wrong ones.
Currently US-only
Vertix is currently available only to licensed mental health professionals in the United States. Canada (Ontario and BC priority) is on the roadmap for Stage II, with a Q3 2027 target. EU and LATAM expansion is unscheduled, pending regulatory and data residency review.
Founder
Emilio Lobo — Psychology student at UNIPRO Universitat (UNIR Andorra), doctoral candidate in mental health AI methodology, and software developer. Founder of THE HUB INITIATIVE SLU and Vertix LLC. CV and publication list available on request to [email protected].
Vertix is built by someone who studies the clinical literature for the same reason the product exists: the gap between what research knows and what reaches the room where the work happens is too large.
