Why are there three specialty tracks instead of one plan?

Each credential type accesses a different clinical surface. Counselors (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) work with a 13-paradigm reasoning engine scoped to non-prescribing workflows. Psychologists (PhD, PsyD) unlock the full 34-paradigm library, forensic templates, and 12 validated instruments. Psychiatrists and prescribing psychologists add Treatment Stewardship, 47 drug-drug interaction pairs, pharmacogenomic CPIC integration, and a drug recall monitor. Pricing reflects feature scope — not patient volume, not session count.

What does 'billing included' mean exactly?

It means Vertix does not charge an additional recurring fee for billing functionality. The clearinghouse fees are paid directly to the clearinghouse by you — Office Ally ($35/mo), Availity (free PAR), or Claim.MD (pay-per-claim). Vertix integrates with whichever path you choose. Cash-pay superbill generation is zero cost on all tiers.

Is the HIPAA Business Associate Agreement included?

Yes — on every paid tier, day 1, no extra cost. The Business Associate Agreement (BAA) covers Vertix as a Business Associate under the HIPAA Security Rule (45 CFR § 164.308–164.318) and includes breach notification, technical safeguard requirements, and subcontractor flow-down provisions.

Is there a per-patient cap or per-session fee?

No. All tiers are flat-rate per user per month. You can serve as many patients as your license allows without any pricing penalty.

Are you SOC 2 certified?

Not yet. Vertix is SOC 2 Type II target, with audit expected to begin Q3 2026 and report delivery Q4 2026. Until then, /security/iso-27001 documents the controls already implemented. SOC 2 Type II is a target state, not a certification claim.

Is Vertix available outside the United States?

Vertix is currently available only to licensed mental health professionals in the United States. Canada is on the roadmap for Stage II (Q3 2027 target). EU and LATAM expansion is unscheduled.
